Sun Garden,LLC – In the spring of 2001 Tracy & Jason decided to forge ahead with the American Dream and start a business of their own. In deciding their venture, they first came up with a basic principle by which they would run their business. Many of you may have heard of the KIS principle, KEEP IT SIMPLE (Stupid). Following this basic directive they chose to sell shaved ice. Being that Central Texas has months of blazing hot weather, shaved ice was a perfect fit for the environment.
They were very fortunate in that same year to become involved in some of the top festivals in the region, and even the entire country, including: The Annual Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival, The Austin City Limits Music Festival as well as a Sponsorship of the 1st Chicago Lollapalooza in 2005. The past five years have been a fun, learning, and pleasurable experience for those involved in Sun Garden,LLC. Tracy and Jason anticipate the growth and success to be even greater in the years to come.
Jason Heinig- Jason is originally from Kentucky and made his way to Texas after serving in the United States Navy in the early nineties. After the military he attended Texas A & M University and obtained his degree in Landscape Architecture. Jason and family moved to Austin in 1999. While working in commercial development and Landscape Architecture, Jason and his wife Tracy started Sun Garden, LLC in 2001.
Jason’s role in Sun Garden, LLC is specializing in operational efficiency, marketing, human resources, creative design, and of course, Magic. He is a member of the Society of American Magicians.
Tracy Lynn Heinig – Tracy has enjoyed a 9 year career as an ACE Certified Personal Fitness Trainer, and currently operates her “in home” fitness business Serenity Now! Tracy specializes in pre-natal and post- natal exercise. She has guided 7 women (including herself) through 10 fit pregnancies. Her business is branching out into lifestyle services that include sales of workout wear, nutritional guidance, and image consulting.
Tracy’s role in Sun Garden, LLC is accounting, logistics and planning. Scouting new festivals, marketing our new Party Services, perfecting awesome frozen cocktail recipes, closely estimating and ordering supplies and recently investigating healthy and eco-friendly vendors are a few of her duties.
Sun Garden, LLC believes in giving back and therefore a portion of all Sun Garden Magic proceeds currently go to The Nature Conservancy.
